THE GOSPEL

Images and descriptions of the symbols that I came up with and drew (with the help of some very amazing friends)

Also, as in depth as I have gone into explaining these things, there are more allusions and explanations you can make in your own Gospel presentation. More importantly, the Gospel is a simple message: We are sinners and Jesus can save you. You can't get wrapped up in trying to have every detail perfectly and have to trust that God will speak through you and work in you just as that person needs! You are to just be obedient to the Great Commission (telling others about what Jesus has done for you).

"When they bring you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, do not worry about how or what you are to speak in your defense, or what you are to say; for the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.” Luke 12:11-12

Earth - the continent is actually traced from what scientists' perception of what the world looked like once (Pangea) before the earth was divided (Gen 10:25)

A tree representing the tree of knowledge of good and evil, which was the forbidden tree (Gen 2-3). Mankind disobeyed what God told them and tried to support themselves by eating of its fruits, losing their innocence and beginning a pattern of sin and consequence in every generation following. Thus, Christians recognize imperfection as a trait for all humans.

The Fall of Man in Genesis 3: Bible Meaning Explained

A crown of thorns like the one soldiers placed on the One True King during the crucifixion in order to mock Him (John 19:2-5; Matthew 27:29; Mark 15:17). The death of the Son of God who never sinned was the price to pay for our sins. However, Jesus defeated death and rose from the dead, so now those who believe and trust in Him are also metaphorically raised from the dead (transgressions).

A jar and vines (jar alluding to God being a potter/we being the clay and the vines alluding to Jesus the Vine).

Following a person's decision to commit their life to God, they begin a process called sanctification. This is where Christians are becoming more like Christ ("For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them" Ephesians 2:10).

In short, God can be referred to as our potter and us as the clay (Isaiah 64:8). He is constantly molding and forming us.

Also, there is another symbol here: the vines. From the beginning of time, mankind has been dependent on God. It's more of a matter of every person coming to this conclusion, which is something that God teaches Christians. "I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing." John 15:5

Hands like those in Michelangelo's Creation of Adam - Man is united with God just like the Beginning - to represent the process of glorification

What is glorification? | GotQuestions.org

"But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body." Philippians 3:20-21

"Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them." Hebrews 11:16

"and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away. And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He *said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.” Revelations 21:4-5
